Steve Sansweet's "Star Wars - Connections" presentation just wrapped up at the San Diego Comic Con and Jeff Yankey called in with details:

- They showed 3 videos from StarWars.Com. It was the behind the scenes video we have seen before.
- They reconfirmed Jango Fett and that he is played by Temuera Morrison. They also confirmed that Daniel Logan is Boba Fett. And remember that Episode II Select image showing Jango Fett dancing in front of the green screen with an umbrella? They showed video footage of that little dance number, too. They also showed a lot of great shots of Morrison in costume as Jango Fett.

- Some of the characters from the website were shown.

- One clip showed many of the new characters. Some footage from the movie was shown without special effects. There is a Jedi that fights with two ligjtsabers. He was shown practicing some moves in the video.

- Several characters are shown walking down a ship ramp, some of them Naboo Starfighter pilots. Then light is shown flashing. Spoiler hounds will know what this scene is.

- Since the presentation was themed "Connections", they showed the connections between the prequels and the classic trilogy. They showed the end of Episode I where Palpatine says to Anakin "We'll be watching your career with great interest." It then flashes to the scene in Return of the Jedi where Palpatine talks to Luke.

- Don't expect the Episode II trailer for at least a couple of months. So it won't be with Planet of the Apes.

- Sansweet reconfirmed Count Dooku, but didn't say much. He talked about scenes in his lair and some questions about his motivations.

- They talked about the Episode I DVD and showed the commercial we had online last week. They talked about the features and such. LFL got their first "check copy" last week.

- They mentioned that the editors of the Insider and Gamer were flown to Australia to see footage from Episode II.

- They showed a blooper where Natalie Portman dropped a battledroid blaster and it broke in half.

- When asked how old Jango Fett was, Sansweet mentioned he couldn't say and that it was a spoiler. More about Jango Fett will be revealed in the next two months.

As of this posting, they were conductin the Q&A. Jeff will call with more reports shortly. Check back soon!

UPDATE - Jeff called in with a few additional items mentioned:

- There's not a lot of Jar Jar.
- Sansweet confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson asked for a purple lightsaber from Lucas and he got it.

- No young Han Solo, Chewbacca, Tarkin, or any Expanded Universe.

- There are no plans to put the Millennium Falcon in the movie. The only way it would get in would be if ILM put it way in the background as a joke or something.

- Only the Episode I DVD is planned now. There are no current plans in the works for the classic trilogy on DVD.

That's all for now! Check back for more later!
